What is a crib blanket?
A crib blanket is a small blanket made especially for the crib or co-sleeper. Measuring around 75x100 cm, it fits perfectly in a standard crib and keeps your baby warm and snug. A wool crib blanket made of Merino wool also regulates temperature, so your little one never gets too warm or too cold.
What blanket is best to put in the crib?
For the crib, choose a breathable, temperature-regulating blanket. Wool – and especially Merino wool – is ideal for this: it insulates, wicks away moisture and is naturally antibacterial. Lay the blanket low in the crib and tuck it in firmly at the sides and bottom, with your baby's feet against the foot end, following safe-sleep guidelines.
How big is a crib blanket?

Is a wool crib blanket also suitable for summer?
Yes. Merino wool is thermoregulating: it keeps your baby warm when it's cold and cools when it's warm. This makes a wool crib blanket usable all year round, including in summer.
How many crib blankets do you need?
For most parents, two to three crib blankets are handy. That way you always have a clean one ready while the other is in the wash or drying.
Can a crib blanket also be used in a cot?
A crib blanket of 75x100 cm fits in a cot, but is rather small for it. For a cot (60x120 or 70x140 cm) we recommend a larger cot blanket, so the blanket can be tucked in properly.
How do I wash a wool crib blanket?
Wash your wool crib blanket on the wool cycle (30°C) with a wool detergent. Wool is self-cleaning and rarely needs washing – airing it is often enough. Dry the blanket flat to prevent it from losing shape.
