Wool for the changing spring weather
Spring never quite knows what it wants — cool mornings, warm afternoons, and everything in between. That is exactly why merino wool is at its best this season: temperature-regulating, breathable, and gentle on delicate skin. A short sleeve with a knitted woollen blanket alongside — a little one who neither sweats nor shivers, whatever the day brings.
For thefirst years.
Just in from the atelier.

MERINO WOOL · LILLE BARN
Wool found us. Not the other way around.
Our second son, Bo, came into our lives with more than we had expected: endless bouts of reflux, soaking-wet shirts, and a little boy who simply would not sleep. We tried everything. Nothing helped for long.
Until someone at daycare suggested we try wool. Honest fibres that hold warmth without storing moisture — exactly what a restless little baby body needs. It worked. Bo slept. We slept. And the fabric stayed surprisingly dry at the wettest moments.
But it was 2020, in the middle of a lockdown when online shopping was the only option. Finding beautiful woollen clothing — in soft quality, in colours that made us happy — simply did not exist. Not for Bo. Not for other babies. So we sat down together at the kitchen table and began designing what we could not buy ourselves.
Lille Barn grew out of that. Not a fashion brand — an answer to one too-long night.
