Our customers find that the hat runs a bit large. A size 44 is often a perfect fit for a newborn. If the wool hat isn't just meant as a maternity hat but needs to last a little longer, a size 50 is a better choice. It might be a bit loose at first, but the baby's head grows very quickly in the first few weeks.
