Itwoolen crib blanketThe 70x90cm baby blanket is a handy knitted baby blanket that can be used for swaddling, as a blanket in the pram, as a crib blanket or to wrap around your child to keep them nice and warm and comfortable.

The larger blanket of 100x140cm is a size that is also suitable as awoolen crib blanketBut it's also wonderful in the crib or stroller. The blanket can be folded in half for extra warmth and comfort.

A wool blanket is a popular gift for the birth of a baby. It's lovely to receive and give. Made of ultra-fine merino wool, it has a luxurious look and feels wonderfully soft and warm.

Cleaning & care

We recommend washing your wool blanket as little as possible. Wool is self-cleaning and therefore needs to be washed less often than, for example, a cotton blanket. Often, just letting it air out is enough.

Accidents happen with a baby, so the blanket definitely needs to be washed. To keep it looking good and lasting, it needs some special attention.

If the blanket needs to be washed, put it in the washing machine on a special wool cycle. Use a special wool detergent and wash only with other wool products. Then lay it flat to dry, for example on a clothes rack, to keep its shape.

If you prefer to wash by hand, that's fine too. Be careful with the water temperature (around 30 degrees Celsius)—not too hot, but also not too cold. Cold water can also cause wool to shrink! Gently knead the wool, but try to avoid rubbing the fabric together. Then squeeze out as much moisture as possible and lay the blanket flat to dry.
